Hello!
If you don’t know me, my name is David Steadson. I’m Australian, but through the interesting twists and turns of life I now live in Stockholm, Sweden. I originally studied Psychology and Computer Science at the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, and later a Masters in Social Sciences (Health) at the same institution. I spent almost a decade working for the UQ Faculty of Medicine as a researcher in public health before leaving to pursue my other passion – entrepreneurship. One of my primary tasks during my time at UQ was collating and evaluating research that we’d later use to help design and evaluate public health interventions.
In the late 1990s I began to learn more about the field of nutritional science and started to study the research in that area, and what I found shocked me – well … it wasn’t the research per se that shocked me, it was how little of the research seemed to be making it’s way into the heads of those who worked medical and allied health professionals fields. From being a skeptic with regards the benefits of nutritional supplementation, I became a convert. If you follow this blog you’ll find out why.
